"Nobody reads any more."
That statement struck me like a bolt of lightning when a good friend, a regional creative director for a global advertising agency put it out there one evening over drinks at a restaurant in a major European capital.
The discussion encompassed ways to promote one of my businesses. The friend was emphasizing the benefits of video as a means of promoting one's benefits over more traditional marketing materials. The open question was always the cost of producing a video, and how to deliver it to your target market. Back then, the cost seemed prohibitive, and getting your target market to actually see the video was cumbersome.
That was back in 2005, BYT ("Before YouTube").
While many of us cringe at the bluntness of the friend's statement and value the written word, few can deny the attention and interest that a video can generate.
In just three years, video has come within the reach of the small business as a tool for promoting products and services. I offer a turnkey service, from conceptualizing and scripting your video, through to editing the final product and getting it on the internet. It is all within the reach of the small to medium-sized local business. Ask me, and I'll show you how.
